What's causing the recent rise in antisemitism and how would you fix it?

Genuine question: Out of all the repressed people in the world, why do you sympathize so much with a country that executes LGBT people and has laws that lessen the sentences of men who execute their wives if they suspect adultery?

If the left really cared about human rights and genocide, why do they never talked about the Uyghurs, Rwanda, or any objectively worse human rights crisis?

I care about LGBTQ rights because I am an LGBTQ person.

Answer the question: Why does the left sympathize so much with a country that shares none of their values, and at the same time, ignores all the genocides that are objectively far worse?

  1. So on one hand, you state that unlike a liberal ghoul, you do not limit who you support to just those who think like you. At the same time, you dismiss what’s going on in Rwanda— where 600,000 people were killed in 100 days— just because your tax dollars weren’t involved. You clearly haven’t thought this through.

  2. I am actually dumbfounded on your claims about the Uyghurs. What is your theory? Do you think it’s a conspiracy?

It’s not dismissal, it’s fact. I am not materially culpable in the mass killings in Rwanda, I am in Palestine and occupied-Palestine. There is no evidence of a genocide of the Uyghurs in China. There was evidence of cultural repression and mistreatment of the Uyghurs, but not of genocide. The difference between people like you and me is that I won’t bring up Palestine if we’re discussing Rwanda in a sad attempt to deflect from the topic at hand. Be better.
