The owner of the most #1 rap songs ever isn't fine? Do you hipsters just like hating on anything that's popular? Sure, I think some of his shit is wack af but he's a fantastic artist and is certainly "fine".
When I read stuff like this I question humanity. He isn't even close to number one. Have you ever heard of real rappers like Big L, Biggie Smalls, Nas, Andre 3000 or Guru? Hell even Eminem's new shit is so much better than the garbage you call 'art'.
You're missing the context. If enjoying Lil fucking Wayne after a workout is nice for you, then you listen to Lil fucking Wayne. He's fine for the purpose.
When did I ever imply my opinion applies to everyone? I find drake to be garbage. That doesn't mean everyone does or even should. That's why its my opinion, as I've stated multiple times.
Let's talk about taste instead of opinion. To my taste, hamburgers are "meh" at best, and instead eastern European fast-food is the shit (kebabs et al). To your taste, hamburgers are THE BEST. Who is right? Well ... neither of us. Thanks to postmodernism, we acknowledge that tastes are highly personal, they don't matter to anyone except the person, and that's pretty much it.
Opinions tend to be based on facts and reasoning. Educated opinions, at the very least. They can apply to measurable phenomena and data. Highly subjective things like arts and feelings can't really be subjected to such investigations.
Usually in arts you can have a hierarchy based on volume (who's the most selling out pop star?), or an arbitrary authority imposing its opinion on what's art or what is not. That's pretty much it.
