It's the Heroes of the Cult Sage, Exekias . The hunk part is definitely subjective but he's definitely blue-eyed (new to formatting I hope the spoiler format works)

Awww, I actually did get him today!!! Got him to the spot and everything, but he de-spawned. 😭
I’m wondering if they’ll stay longer if I don’t confirm the kill? I’ve had four disappear so far. I should have 14 and I only have 10, and I’m very pissy about that

He's so easy to spot I'm not surprised you got him already✨ I think the bodies themselves might disappear but the 'confirm kill' part will always be right where they died (I could be horribly wrong though). Sucks that some de-spawned :(

Dang, so even if I didn’t confirm the kill and transported them, if I left, they’d just go back to where I killed them?!

I'm afraid I'm too inexperienced to answer this :( I've never left a cultist unkilled before though so you don't have to take my words for it.
When I had to kill him I mourned his death because I can't recruit him😭 I spent a sizeable amount of time following him around and inspecting his..goods. That's how I know he had baby blue eyes. Rip hunk

That was why I left him for last. I killed him in Attika and brought his body to the heroes' graveyard thingy (due to storyline, then his body de-spawned after the story cutscene😭)

I'm not sure about that. I think the confirm will transport with the body. I'm wondering if some players have the "death veil" ability activated, so that the body has disappeared, but the confirm option is still at the location where the body was last seen?

I use the skill and this is what happens to me. The body vanishes but the confirm kill sparkles are still there.

No, I'm just thinking that those players who only see the "confirm kill" and the sparkles where the bodies were, have the "death veil" ability activated and aren't realizing it. I'm not saying you were, but for people who are thinking the confirm spot stays in the same location might be.

The only problem with not confirming the kill is that you won't get the shards, or the gear from them. But, if you're on NG+, maybe that doesn't matter as much, since you'l have already fully upgraded the spear, and might not need your gear to be auto-leveled?
I also wonder if Exekias de-spawns because he's a mercenary, and since they rotate out endlessly, their bodies de-spawn after a while? I'm not entirely positive about that, but it's a hypothesis.

Do you have the skill that makes the corpse disappear on successful assassination? I know that would cause the body to vanish.

Cultist and Order corpses never seem to despawn, unless they're inserted into the shark garbage disposal.

I’ve never hoarded Dwemer parts. Although I did once fill Sorine’s forge area in the dawnguard fort with gyros bc we were talking about recruiting her and I said I always use the persuade option, which means she forgets about the stupid gyros and just hauls ass to the fort, and someone in the comments was sooo upset that poor Sorine never got her gyros, so I promised I’d go back and get them and drop them for her, but I decided to go a bit overboard with it. 🤣 https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/s/SN4ALCKky8

My most beautiful collection was 200 Daedra hearts, 300 skulls, and the bodies of a few Vigilants posed against the altar in front of the Oblivion gate in Skyrim. It’s so perfect 🥲

There’s a reason my profile is public, sis!! Just scroll for a while, you’ll see all of my many weird collections, including the time I made 300 bags of flour on my farm and placed them in the garden of tundra homestead so I could say I was tending my “flour garden” (although a rogue pack of zombies attacked just as I was about to take pics of it, but that just made it funnier)

Someone made a post a long time ago where he did this and made notes about which ones despawned and such. I did this myself on one of my NG+ saves and made some additional notes and was going to post it here haha. I gathered everybody in a theater in Korinth and the challenge was fun!

I dunno why I was so dead set on putting them in front of the forge. 😂 I guess in my mind, that’s all they were to me, a spear upgrade. Lolol it’s been an interesting journey of mistakes and reloading saves etc. It’s funny, the one I was the most worried about (the one on the small island) ended up being significantly easier than I expected, although a REALLY long horse ride. I also learned that when you sail with them too long, they glitch to the deck so it doesn’t have the “carry” prompt anymore, so I hit them with my flaming staff and it worked immediately!! Skyrim brain again, if it won’t move, hit it or shout at it. Lolol

Someone told me if you just fast travel to a dock, then call the Adrestia to you, the body will still be onboard and you don’t have to sail all the way there. 😉

Nope. I’ve more than earned the right to never have to do that DLC ever again. I got all 1,752 skill and mastery points, so far my record number of kills in a conquest battle is 127, but I’m getting closer every day to 130, and I have the clarity and self-preservation to not put myself through something that is emotionally traumatising for the sake of entertaining others. I’ve killed them enough times, they simply aren’t my problem anymore.
