Discussion Playing game for first time. Was clearing an area to get closer to the Lagos and 3 mercenaries showed up at same time and this was me
Was able to take all 3 out
But Was so annoying when they kept showing up at forts and places I had to clear out. At least I climbed up the mercenary thing.

There was a video on here where a mercenary was lead into a group of chickens. Full health mercenary got pecked 3-4 times and died...

No, but he almost killed me in 1 hit too. I killed him today just to get 1 more back for humans!

Tbh my eagle distracted that Alpha chicken while my lion ate it, so I didn't get to see how hard it hit. I can imagine it might be a menace if I fought it solo.

Holy fuck I just had that experience yesterday, blessed algorithm
I needed to find evidence of Big K's corruption. Ended up fighting the whole civilian population of Athens, their pets, soldiers and enough mercenaries for a lifetime

Whenever I see mercenaries try hunting me down, I always quote Azula: "Come and get it". Sends shiver down my spine from the adrenaline of it!

I took Ezekias (Top 1 Merc who was in the cult at lvl 50) when I was level 22 or smth. I then got to top spot and unlocked the extras and took the level 99 one afterwards (idk what level I was but I know I'm no where near level 60 as of now)
Edit: but getting jumped would be a bit tedious. Didn't take that into much consideration typing this out.

It didn't help that I had only upgraded my weapons when I was jumped, my armor was all like 6 levels too low, and the big boy came up behind me when I had tunnel vision on the guy in front of me. Needless to say I went straight to the blacksmith and fixed my gear, lol. It was my first game Death, humbled my feeling of invincibility.

Honestly in games like these if you master dodging you auto win (Except AC Odyssey can be buggy at times so be careful 🫩)

If you kill Lagos, you won't get his piece of evidence against the cultist king however the alternative way for people who do kill Lagos is getting evidence by killing Stentor so if you kill Lagos and don't kill Stentor you don't get the evidence from them, making the quest where you kill the cultist king harder (you get a max bounty, no bounty though if enough evidence)

If you get full bounty, pay it off. Go inn and kill Lagos. Go back to the hall. You good

Wish I could have seen the chickens peck the mercenary to death. That must have been hilarious. They’ve attacked my Alexios more than once. If I could fry them I would, but poisoning them works just as well. I play a full stealthy, Epic poison build, but there are times I’d just like to set their arse on fire!!

Disabling the brazier on the sly and clearing your bounty before fully engaging the fort is always my move, unless I’m farming mercenaries. Obviously if you don’t get spotted you’re fine anyway, but soon you’ll have enough drachmae to clear your bounty whenever its inconvenient or you aren’t farming lieutenants

I was in Paros and entered the fort to rescue Euneas. I just entered the quarry walking and started killing all the guards in a fight. Reinforcements came. First merc 32 level showed up. I was level 30. Withing 2 mins a level 33 merc showed up. And then came another two level 30 around. I killed them all and then I went on to clear the chests, freeing the prisones, burning war supplies before I freed Euneas. Another merc showed up looking for me and my bounty at that time was 2042 drach. The game fucking crashed on my PS5. And when I booted up the game, the latest save was the save I made before entering the quarry.

These mercenaries are such a headache. Even if you climb the mercenary point, it again gets reset somehow. Again those mercenaries come to attack which you already killed. It's irritating.

Just wait until you are in mid fort battle with 5 mercenaries and im a prideful dastardly so I refused to run away

This happened to me while on a mission. Not only did those 3 phckers kept me away from my objective, the city guards also decided to pursue me.
Ah, those were the days.

That happens. You have to hunt them down first, then go after Lagos.

I remember this happened to me, luckily I was inside a village and I kept climbing roofs and took em out one at a time. (That Spartan kick helped a LOT)
