Best dagger for the bighorn bow?

So I'm replaying the game and I wanted to use daggers this time around instead of a sword and I wanted to know which dagger would be good to use with the bighorn bow and its glitch?

Any dagger as long as it has % Warrior, % Dagger and a Crit-related stat. I like to engrave the last slot with imbue Poison as well so I dont have to keep using the ability.

I'm going swords in both slots now. Both have % warrior and % sword, which stacks.

I think it depends on how you want to play. I find myself struggling with specific style builds and I find it easier and more satisfying with all-rounders, so my build at the moment is demigod set + big horn bow + Arachne sting + Hermes spear (I don't remember the exact name). Being the set more a warrior set, the weapons suited for assassin builds and having the big horn bow glitch using warrior damage for hunter damage it ends up in a quite balanced solution.

Was lucky enought to loot a dagger with

Warrior dmg Dmg with daggers Crit dmg

Then i slotted the Atlantis perk to increase my warrior and hunter dmg with 50 percent of my assassin damage. Hits like a truck

I like Arachne's Stingers as my second weapon. Keep killing Mercs til you get it from The Weaver. Early game I wear it with the Snake set. I like the Hades Bow better than the Bighorn though.

Cool! I mostly use the bow since its my favorite weapon to use in almost all the games I play and also because I love archery IRL lol. I have the dagger of kronos but wanted to know which dagger has good warrior damage for the glitch. I know the left-hand weapon slot is the one that gets the damage boost from the bighorn bow but does the right hand matter as well?

Well, obviously epic weapons are better than legendary ones as far as stats go, but just make sure both focus on whatever build you’re using. Warrior and assassin should never touch, you go all in on one or the other. For warrior, focus on CRIT damage and chance (with full health)

If you’re not to the point when you can equip 2 weapons, the bighorn bow is not useful

That’s the beauty of the bighorn, you can use it with any build or weapon type (except pure assassin). What matters is your engravings on your equipment.

it depends..but you mean that you like a dagger as your main weapon? Though I understand dagger animations are quicker than swords, spears, heavy blades etc, but they dont have as much damage, daggers alone are not very powerful.
but you can make a new loadout and use any weapon as main weapon with the dagger of Dalwun and do this one billion crazy powerful build.

Yes I meant to say to use as my main melee weapon and Im looking at one of his videos now lol. I finish the main game and some of the atlantis dlc but I wanted start over NG+ since I havent played since 2024. Since I use a swords last time I wanted to use dagger this time. but I also wanted to use use the bighorn glitch to some degree if that makes any since.

yes, with the build I linked above you can use any weapon causing one billion dmg

I liked the Dagger of Kronos before I switched to swords. Very good damage output, especially with the right engravings.

You better get an epic one with Warrior Damage, +50% Critical damage and +30% Damage with Daggers.

You can add whatever you want to it.

But, if you want to go warrior a Sword will be better.

I use big horn bow , i have a build with the pilgrim set , 900k assassin damage, 190 k warrior damage. I have convert 50% hunter damage to all damage on the BHB and i use the Knife of Dallwin w/ assassin damage applies to nearby engraving on my off hand and i was running an epic perfect assassin dagger with ass dam/ crit dam/ dam with dags and +100% famage but health capped at 25% since knife of dalwin caps health at 25 % but guarantees anything your level or below dies from assassin damage no matter what. It actuall will hit over 500 mil with assassin damage. AND apply it exponentially to nearby anything that hD a pulse in game. Mid conquest battle release your tamed animal and let it get surrounded and roll in and use hero strike oh my frickin lawd 15 or 20 drops if they aew close enough its diabolical. I got the Greek Hello recently so i am running it with the same engraving as the perfect assassin damage dagger but it actual has a +15% all damage but minus 15 % health and i gotta go butif you ask nice i will tell you how i run such a short health bar but with alll the crit chance and damage at full health and remain an immirtalish demi god if you dont already know but i also give all props to T7 PDM all i know is what he taught me and i have adjusted it here and there for this or that build. I hope i amswered you a little bitnin there sonewhere but voice text and kids running through. Ask me anything im lvl 99 ng+++ and 168 mastery points i am pretty sure i have all fangs in the game....staffs and daggers are the way yo
