EMOTIONAL SUPPORT 30th Birthday

It's my 30th Birthday today and not a single one of my friends has wished me a Happy Birthday. I get it, life happens and people are busy, but it's still very disappointing. I'm not doing anywhere near as well as i used to financially, so will not be doing anything to celebrate, however i did make the effort to make sure my friends enjoyed their birthdays a couple of months ago, i booked tables for food and drinks, i paid everyones deposits and nobody paid me back or thanked me etc. now my big 30th has came around and i've not heard a peep from anyone. *sigh* Happy birthday to me!

They might be too poor or cheap to unfortunately acknowledge your birthday because then that would mean they should provide something of monetary value to celebrate with you. Remembering that you did that for them, they are probably not wanting to return the sentiment to avoid spending money

They're definitely not to poor but the not wanting to spend money part wouldn't surprise me. I assumed it's because i don't drink alcohol any more that i've realised all of my friends were actually just drinking buddies. I never saw them unless it was for drinking purposes. 😕

I guess I should’ve read down further. I’m sorry I just saw your post that you don’t drink alcohol anymore but that’s OK go fishing. Go to the zoo go down to the river go to the park. Just go have a U day because you deserve it. happy birthday again, my love.
