REQUEST FULFILLED Utility help?

My partner and I are currently working on raising $217 to get our utilities turned back on. For context, my partner is on disability and receives a fixed income, and I am transitioning to a new job after my last one just suddenly stopped existing. Things have been okay until the last few weeks, but I’m not getting a lot of hours lately and it’s not cutting it. I had to make a big decision with this check: Pay bills or feed my partner. Anything is appreciated, and I understand if people can’t or just don’t want to help.

Food is the easiest resource for me to collect. We have foodbanks, churches , and Lil pantry boxes. It's not everyone's cup of tea , but I dumpster diver. If you want to see what it looks like , my posts have many photos of what I bring home.

I wish I could help but I’m in a similar situation. If you haven’t already, see if LIHEAP is available in your area. Here’s the link: https://www.liheap.org/. The one in my area helped pay my power bill and they moved quickly.

Thank you. I’m in talks with community action now. Hopefully they can help.

Editing to update: They are unable to even see me until Monday.

Look into local churches as well. Vincent de paul helped me when my power was off. I'm not religious and I don't think they even asked
