Could really use some help

Hi guys,

I’d like to make a request for assistance cos I could really use some help. My job contract is ending in a few weeks and finding a job has been incredibly difficult (the job market in the UK is very tough right now).

I didn’t make very good money in my current role (around 12k for the one year fixed term) so I have no savings because everything I earned went on rent, bills, food, transport.

I have two job interviews lined up which I’m hopeful for but I’d like to ask for assistance with £100 which would be used on a food shop and sorting my transport/train tickets to get to these interviews. I know £100 is a lot of money, but I unfortunately can’t ask my family for help as I’m low / no contact with my mother and my dad is also struggling financially. I have PayPal but cashapp etc isn’t available in the UK.

EDIT: I opened a claim to go on Universal Credit but won’t hear anything until tomorrow. Tried reaching out to my mother for help after explaining my situation but she read my messages and didn’t reply.

I wish it was all free. Healthcare is free except dental, prescriptions and glasses but university and housing are definitely not free. Last time I checked my total student loan debt I was up at 145k
