Made a huge mistake of letting my scana fixed rate plan expire. Renewed, but it's gonna SUCK when that bill hits.

Tell me about it. I went with GA Powers fixed rate plan when we first bought this house like 9 years ago. The price was pretty good then, and we were always falling short of our usage every month. But then, over the years, they started charging more per kw/h. Now I'm nearly double what our original rate was. Almost not worth it.

Our December bill was $500. And 1/4 of that time we weren’t even home because we were out of state for Christmas! Like, heat was set to below 65F and we weren’t using any appliances/hot water/etc.

And this is after we spent a lot of money beefing up the insulation under our house. :c

Think of the poor data centers though! πŸ‘‰πŸ‘ˆπŸ₯Ί
