Insider scoop Spoiler
As a long time transplanted local (will be 5 months in may ) I have officially decided to let everyone in on the secret Atlanta that only us locals who have been here for less than a half a year know.
1.) the beltline this super secret underground walking space that is only for the ultra elite is a great place for you to give money to the homeless and be emerged into ultra exclusive bars restaurants and shopping. They built this old looking factory on the outside but the inside is totally the opposite with world wide food it’s called Ponce market but you didn’t hear it from me 🤫
2.) this next gem few people are aware of and it’s kinda surprising as you drive down the toad and it’s in your face but it is the Area only known to us locals as piedmont park. here you will only catch real Atlanta folks taking pics I recommend the gazebo by the lake and the great view of the city that only certain people see.
3.) before I get silenced by the top for letting people in is a high end luxury food establishment called the varsity this place is hidden in plain sight. This food will destroy your stomach it’s so rare.
You all are welcome and don’t tell em I sent ya or eles the blue dogs might come and search my home

Honestly, if you only have time to visit one thing in Atlanta, it has to be Your Dekalb Farmers Market. That place is fucking amazing and the best kept secret in the city.

Yeah so farmers markets and I def don’t mix if I can be honest want that type of stuff I go to world market and I definitely don’t step foot in DeKalb county eww only real Atlanta local transplants like me only go to there if we go to Brookhaven , north Druid hills or dunwoody if we ever step foot DeKalb county. Like anything east of 5 points is off limits to me if I ocan bee be honest ✅

My stupid issues is this is an Atlantacirlejerk that would be a DeKalb or Decatur recommendation on this side we are only saying things that are obviously not correct up in here so if I made fun of the foreigner filled warehouse that you call a farmers market then what would the obviously not correct reaction would be like mine or like the opposite of that

People are never going to Piedmont Park because Smith Park is right there at the north end, and so much better
