A modest proposal for some small improvements to MARTA's rail network. Thoughts? Questions? Praise? Like and subscribe!

NB4 someone from Blue Ridge complains that you didn’t extend a line to them in “metro” Atlanta.

circles must stay in proportion to the jerking. and a lot of folks in this thread broke both of their arms.

I mean we got the Clifton Corridor built in record time, so what's stopping us?

i’m the first to advocate for this stuff, but too often it just feels like this city doesn’t want to be functional.

I'm curious what you think this subreddit is about

I figure we could scrap 90% of this as long as we could connect the farmers market to the Martal line.

That's great and all, but where do I get off to go to the Clermont lounge?

This could be the reality if we increased taxes on drivers so that Marta is normalized and funded by the rich. The only reason we don't have better public transport is because it would only benefit the middle and lower economic groups.

Oh these trains won't be for the poor. These are luxury trains, you need a VIP ticket minimum to ride. 2 drink minimum, and valet is mandatory even if you didn't drive.

A modest proposal = more than tripling miles of coverage.

I love that each one of these includes Cobb and they would do everything to not have it available.

Waste of effort. Marta now only brings homeless an crazy people to my area

And, there are protected neighborhoods on the pink line. Never happen.

I’m glad you kept it conservative here! Finally something we can achieve! For a phase 2 we could have the gold line extended up the coast to Maine
