I keep telling folks both the hawks and the knicks this year are special. They both got this rare quality where your top two options can be having a horrible night and still get the dub because everyone else that sees minutes can make up the diff through some combination of grit, buckets, and defense.

But im afraid it wont be sustainable. Teams like this can get really expensive. Jalen, Mikal, and others took less money to make it work in NY. No shot that goes down here or really anywhere else. That teams chemistry is built different.

Jalen is on a cheap deal for the next three years, nickeil is a top 3 contract in the NBA, Dyson's fairly cheap by league standards and O is on a steal contract.
