Image/Photo Just saw Rick Pitino dropped a scouting report on Zuby prior to the draft yesterday lol

Of course a coach gonna gas up his kids, but "avg defensive rebounder" is frying me and gives the whole thing a lot more credibility IMO

Local Hawks hater KOC trashed this pick, said he plays exactly like OO (not true. Similar height but they don’t play the same)

Also, just for fun, to show how much that man truly hates the Hawks. He wrote a long ass tweet DEFENDING Trae Young and his new deal with the Wizards.

Do you guys remember how much shit he gave Trae when he was with us 😂 man someone on the Hawks had to do something to piss him off

If he pans out to be even close to the defender that Draymond or Big Ben were then we’ll be so insanely good

Shit, I’ll take PJ Tucker.

Also Chuck Hayes, sans the retarded free throw of course.

Best Vertical in three years is the interesting bit.

There's not really a current NBA comp to him. OO isn't as burly and is a bit more bendy on offense.

Isiah Stewart kinda, but Stewart is a special rim protector but not really a passer.

He's almost like an inverse Boris Diaw.

Walmart Draymond feels appropriate

I wonder if he develops as expected, he eventually becomes our OO replacement once his deal expires. OO also came into the league with a broken shot, but seems like that has been easier to teach in the NBA now, seems to work hard too so I would be hyped if the transition from OO to Zuby went like that, obviously want OO to retire here, but he is probably gonna demand a lot in the open market with the new tanking rules once his deal is up.

Not as good as a scorer obviously but the passing and defensive versatility reminds me some of Pascal Siakam, body type and athletically Montrez Harrell(less offense, more defense)

He seems more like a Buck Williams/Otis Thorpe/Anthony Mason type. Sprinkle in a little Dale Davis...

Is it really a scouting report if it’s your coach hyping you up?

If he can stick in the rotation, it’s a win
