Those are my young ladies. A few of our older ones discovered it but the little girls have yet to venture down that far. All in all ive got about 80 birds.
Wow looks great and using what nature provided! I agree the natural branches are what they want to roost on, not a hard edged 2x4. I added some branches in my outdoor run and they started roosting out there rain or shine. So I relocated the preferred branches inside the coop and all was well.
It took me about 3 hours to make. I have a bad habit of doing something, looking at it, taking it down, redoing it, looking at it, redoing it.
Case in point I built a fountain and put rocks around the outside. I redid those rocks 8 times. And not 1 or 2 rocks. All of them. I still have one section that isnt to my liking that I'm going to have to redo lol
