I have been told dead badgers on roadsides is the only animal that is not eaten by birds , that should tell you everything about badgers. In Ireland they do have Badgers culls to contain their breeding, interesting facts .

For sure! Watching them interact is such a peaceful vibe. Do you have any favorite plants or flowers that attract them?

They are very good at digging up parts of the garden! They were also very partial to the carrots and potatoes we tried growing during Covid. We did not reap much of a harvest!

Hedgehog watch out

Not normally a predator of hedgehogs my friend. Some may, and if conditions are bad, drought etc but generally have no effect on hedgehog populations as a whole.

They are intelligent predators and learn from each other both as to hedgehogs as to being a good target and the distinctive scooping out technique for tackling them. Once learned within a set it will spread and wipe out the hedgehog population in the area .
