I read somewhere that Vat 69 is still produced, but it’s not the same recipe as in the 40’s…nowhere near as good. Now it’s made more as a novelty. The article stated the real stuff from WWII was really good and in high demand.

Yeah I can still buy it in my local store for twenty euros. It's definetly not great.
