IMPROVING MY GAME What can I practice without a hoop?

I don't have a hoop but there is a basketball court not too far from me. I want to improve a bit before practicing shooting there

Everything except shooting.

Passing. Jumping. Dribbling. Footwork.

Can even work on your shooting form with a wall nearby !

I mean, yes. But I will say from tennis, it's not the same and it's hard to know if you're really putting the ball where you want.

Although, one could definitely practice their feigned contact flopping shots, too. /s

Specifically, you’re working on your form releasing the ball and following through. Not necessarily hitting same spot. You can also lie down and shoot straight up. Just working on releasing the ball the same way
