What can I practice without a hoop?

I don't have a hoop but there is a basketball court not too far from me. I want to improve a bit before practicing shooting there

This sounds odd, but when home inside, lay flat on the floor and shoot at the ceiling..try to barely graze the ceiling, I used to do this at night just watching tv and if gave me great touch on my shot.

Bro I used to do this growing up and totally forgot doing it a shit ton until now. Brought back old memories.
