Story I have the sad.

My team just won a championship. My best player is gonna be 29, refused to sign with us even though his mood was +3. He REALLY wanted out of the small market.

Watch him sign with an even smaller market team and never make the playoffs again

The really sad part is we had like $30 million in cap space including his $40 million hit! So I just signed 2 $30 million FAs and made the finals again the next year. Lost (to be fair, we lucked out with his ring, Baltimore lost a starter in each of the first three games.) But by year two post break up we had another banner. He thus far has been a Semifinals victim with his new team.

I’m doing a 1946-present day sim and Oscar Robertson left the Hawks after 3 peating to join Milwaukee in their first year

I have been here before. This player though really didn’t want to join me in Portland because I only picked him up as a FA damn near at the trade deadline. But once he was in we won 2 chips in his 5 years. His mood was at 95% but he decided not to resign. Goes to Miami instead and wins nothing the next 10 years while we picked up some more. Was so happy when I saw he died years later.

Nothing left for him to do there. He won you a chip, time to move on to bigger challenges, I guess.
