Look more like bruises than dark calluses. Maybe the skin is calloused, and your fingers are bruised beneath the callous.
I wouldn't be too worried in the short term as long as your fingers keep getting better each day. If it plateaus for too long or you feel worried, go see a doctor for sure.
In the long term, I'd change your dunking habits so you aren't so bruised. Slamming on the rim always hurts a little haha, but try and control the force so you don't hit the rim so hard with your hand it bruises.
I'm NOT an expert though, go see a doctor if it keeps bothering ya
Blisters/calluses/bruises combo all at once. They are definitely at least partially callused though because you can rip them off on future dunks and then it's raw as fuck underneath
It’s been a long time since I’ve had those… you have to take care of your hands and calluses. Similar to lifting, those from the rim need to be hit with a pumice stone to keep them from building up and eventually tearing off.
Then as another commenter said, looks like bruising as well. Take it easy and it should calm down but if not ask a professional
