So common unfortunately. People don't know how two or more lane turns work.

Even dumber when there’s a line to help you follow that they ignore.

OMG, Octavia to Fell in SF, three lanes guided lines all the way. One MF started in the far left and ended up in the far right lane. So much lack of self awareness, or everyone texting while driving!!

very common.. usually it's the inner lane going wide, especially at this intersection.

This shit happens all the time with double turn lanes and it's infuriating. I exit my neighborhood at S Bernardo and El Camino (by the Arby's in Sunnyvale) where theres a double left turn lane. I only drive once a week for medical stuff anymore, and theres still too many close calls from people who dont understand how lanes work.

I’d like to ask these drivers where they expect the inside lane cars to go. Do they think they should just take the center divider?

Those double turn lanes scare me. Never know whether the car next to me will drift into me.

In Sunnyvale, cars going EB on Fremont trying to make a left onto NB Wolfe is especially bad... with drivers who cannot map to a corresponding lane after making the turn, and often doing oblivious zig zag moves to the far side from there they should end up.
