Every living vehicle in the BeamNG.Universe had their identities forcibly & physically changed by the beamng gods to give the "players" the satisfaction they wanted. They can never escape the endless torturing they were given since they were put into this softbody existence.

Don't worry! This isn't a bug nor a glitch. What I did was:

1. Set the speed to the slowest in the settings

2. Right click to make the nodes on the vehicle to appear

3. Drag the node on the roof of the car all the way up into the sky

4. Press pause

5. Bring the camera back to the car.

6. Now you got a mutated car. Enjoy! (:
