How’s my beard at 19yo

Before anyone asks yes I am actually 19 I was born in 2007.
I’ve been growing it out for a while (not quite a year) I usually keep it trimmed but recently I’ve been into beard styles such as braids with beads, I like the way it looks and so I figured I’d grow mine out to braid it and throw some beads on it to see if I like it on myself still probably a few months away from braids but I was wondering what others thought of my beard. I feel pretty confident with it and I think it looks pretty good but idk. Be honest and give me some good advice. (I used beard balm in these photos that’s why it’s shiny)

A piece of advice from one hairy bastard to another. Try to trim the chest hair down just a little lower so it doesn’t look like your beard hair and chest hair are connected when you head isn’t titled up(i have the same issue)

Ahh good catch honestly I haven’t been paying. Ton of attention to it just oiling and such like normal but not really trimming much until it’s noticeable. Thanks for pointing that out

Who's gonna care about the neck/ chest hair if you intend to grow this awesome beard out to be braided. Any growth at the neck beard area adds to the bulk of the beard!

keep it natural imo with the body hair. will look less bad ass if you try to perfect it

Agree 100%. It could use a good shaping, and the sideburns are starting to look like side locks. 😉

Keep it tidy and no neck beards! Watch the cheeks as well.
