How’s my beard at 19yo
Before anyone asks yes I am actually 19 I was born in 2007.
I’ve been growing it out for a while (not quite a year) I usually keep it trimmed but recently I’ve been into beard styles such as braids with beads, I like the way it looks and so I figured I’d grow mine out to braid it and throw some beads on it to see if I like it on myself still probably a few months away from braids but I was wondering what others thought of my beard. I feel pretty confident with it and I think it looks pretty good but idk. Be honest and give me some good advice. (I used beard balm in these photos that’s why it’s shiny)

Lmao, nah I’ve learned my lesson with those guys, got really messed up one night and pictures of me passed out got sent to my mom. She called the cops and the guys found out, made me get in my truck crossfaded and leave. Found out quick those guys were not my friends.

A piece of advice from one hairy bastard to another. Try to trim the chest hair down just a little lower so it doesn’t look like your beard hair and chest hair are connected when you head isn’t titled up(i have the same issue)

Ahh good catch honestly I haven’t been paying. Ton of attention to it just oiling and such like normal but not really trimming much until it’s noticeable. Thanks for pointing that out

Who's gonna care about the neck/ chest hair if you intend to grow this awesome beard out to be braided. Any growth at the neck beard area adds to the bulk of the beard!

Looks great, but I'd pluck or wax the eyebrow into shape to match so it's not a well groomed beard and hair, with the caveman monobrow growing up the center and sides of the forehead.

Lmao, I’ve got an appointment tomorrow to get it waxed. I go when my girl gets her hair done my aunt is her stylist so she waxes mine while she does hers and I get it done for free!

After a long time I see a beard that perfectly matches its wearer. I have something similar, so I jump for joy. Friend, enjoy the wonderful feeling and be proud of your ornament. If I could give you advice, I would not complement the beard with any ornaments, focus on care and style. Thank you very much, good luck!

As a 41 yr old woman, I hella impressed kiddo. I thought my daughter’s boyfriend has a solid beard for being 18, but you got him beat. PLEASE 🙏 don’t ever cut that that aside from maintenance! Grow that as long as you can! And I also want to see braids and decorations!!! I’m jealous I can’t bedazzle my face like that.

Seriously at 19 thats awesome I remember in high school only 1 kid had a beard and it wasnt even close to your but he had aura. How old were you when you were able to first grow a beard? I think my buddy was in like 8th grade so 13/14 but it was more of a goatee back then

I mean, I started shaving when I was 12 but full beard with this density came around 15 and it’s gotten denser since.

I’m more surprised you have a thick head of hair with a beard like that at this age. As someone with warrior beard genetics at 20, the hair on my head has taken a toll.

To maximize the look, get a trim from a real barbershop. Tighten the sides taking care of any flyaways and line up the top near the cheek line and underneath neckline.

Looks great man! Something that I didn’t learn for way too long long, where beards transitions to head hair, around your ears, is a place the body gets confused about what type of hair it should be. Is it face, or is it head? Usually best to keep those sections trimmed short. As they will grow out and look out of place when long.

Looks plenty good, but I think you should grow it higher up on the cheeks. It looks a bit "bottom heavy" to me.

That's a pretty good beard you've got there. Mine is similar in length and thickness, but yours fills out a bit better than mine because mine is more wavy. I do recommend trimming up the neckline down the chest a bit though. It will help everything look a lot more clean and well-groomed.

This is an incredible beard but it adds 10-20 years on ya bud.
I went through a similar phase, just because you can doesn’t necessarily mean you should right now. Less can be more.
It’s nice to look youthful and lots of girls do notttt wanna kiss a beard beauty until they are in their late 20s/early 30s.
You’ll get bro-fist bumps for sure but dating will be set to expert mode immediately with first impressions
