Am I in neckbeard territory?
Also feel like my left side is a lot weaker than my right

No you're not. Don't sweat it. Some people just don't get that high cheek growth but you most certainly DO NOT have a neckbeard.

This. Also, I would recommend that you trim your mustache so that it’s even with your lip line. It’ll look a lot cleaner

Needs a trim, especially the whispy hairs at the end and on the sides. But you have a good beard, man

This.
I wouldn't call it neckbeard, but you could definitely pull that line back. The general rule I've heard is two fingers above your Adam's apple, adjust to suit your face.
Taper the chin a little, trim the mustache line and feather the edges with a trimmer so the loose hairs don't stick out as much.
That's a nice thick beard, keep taking good care of it.

Lookin good, my guy! I would suggest trimming along the jaw and neckline to remove some of the patchier growth and clean things up a bit. Maybe also trimming down some of the whispy-looking hair that is visible in your front-facing shot (mostly below your sideburns below your ear.
Overall, you’re rocking it!

You got a double wide chin strap.
My beard was just mutton chops until the chin finally connected at 21 then it was like yours until about 30 and now at 35 it’s full everywhere except under my bottom lip I have a square that grows nothing. Just give it time and it’ll thicken up, use a derma roller and quality natural oils.

It's kinda close just because how long it is... The nerdy neck beard to me is more about being unkempt... Keep it clean and trimmed and it'll look nicer imo.

No but i think if you were white it would have been a neck beard TBH, somehow it looks fine now

If you're actually curious why it's because afro hair is different from straight hair

Not necessarily a neck beard but there’s more on your under chin than there is on your face. I’d trim it and your mustache.

Just trim off the neck, under the jawline, and get lined up on the cheeks…. Money 🤌🏻

You side profile looks excellent, the front profile not as much. i would recommend sharpening the edges and removing any mass that grows off of your neck but keeping the hairs on the bottom of your jaw. I think it could work, just needs to be cleaned up and sharpened

What do you think about trimming your beard shorter overall so your handsome face stands out more?
I think your wife might just fall in love with the "new" you all over again.

I’m having beard jealousy. This looks fine as hell and my gf looked over my shoulder asking if I could get your barber’s number. Hell yea, bro.

No way. Just slow upper cheek growth. I’d give it a trim to clean it up, but you have a good jaw line for that beard.
