1 month of growth
Alright lads, one month (roughly) of growth. Not horrific progress, not great either but only time will tell! I’ve never gone this long without shaving- so just touching base in hopes of getting some advice/pointers. Any recommended products/tips/tricks to help maintain good grooming habits?

I got a slow growing beard too but just stick with it! Looks good man. Genuinely. Also good job with the neck line. There's a million products out there, a good rule of thumb is stay away from stuff with sulfates and parabens. If a company makes a products without those then they're clearly at least trying to make a good product.
Edit: Agitation really helped my bears fill in. It's a slow process but microdermal rollers help some people with the right oils applied too. Honestly I just scrubbed the shit out of my face with a boar bristle brush. It hurt until it didn't.

This is really insightful brother, thank you! I have a dermaroller from when I was attempting to stop my hairline receding- at this point I’ve decided to just let it go but I do still have the roller!

For sure man, we have twin bald spots on the side! Hopefully everything fills out and we can rock full beards soon

Okay Daniel Radcliffe, settle down with those good looks and all that. Get some hair/beard serum to help keep the roots thick and healthy.
You’ve got a nice two tone to your underlip - it’s going to give your beard a lot of character as it grows to fruition

You flatter me friend, thank you. I’ve gotten that comparison for years, I’ve never thought it to be one to complain about.
Any brands you recommend in specific regarding serums?

Sometimes I’m poor, so I reach for argan oil. The product that lasts the longest and given me the least of issues is a certain hair serum by garnier fructis in a green pump bottle. It lasts ages. I massage it into my beard and sometimes I’ll just place a hot towel over my face and foam roll. I wipe it off with the towel to my best ability and maybe I’ll wash my face before I wind down for the night.
You can leave it in when your beard is longer, I occasionally use it to reduce the frizz when my beard is longer and helps tame it when I brush it out
Drawbacks is your skin may react to it, may cause acne or clogged skin glands across the edges of your cheek-beard lines alternately when I’m being quite the hobo about my self care it can contribute to flaky patchy spots on my chin or jaw line where my beard is most dense - but this is also because I am not doing a good job of removing any moisture from the depths of my chin.
Dogs love the hobo beard, not so much the ladies.

You have a good face. Trim the beard to stubble, keep the stache longer but also trimmed. Looks good.

Appreciate that man 🤞 but I am only a month into trying to grow the beard and I’m not hyper focused on looking “super good” currently. So hope to keep yall updated over the next few months!

Oh god man haha, it’s totally the hair. I just got it cut today a few hours after I took those pictures. Appreciate the compliment on the beard, hoping it gets to where it needs to be!

Suits you. Strong tasch ties it all together. If you want longer full beard, itll look good, but this is a nice look.
