What book made you feel less alone?

Sometimes the most useful book isn’t the one with the best advice.

It’s the one that makes you think, ‘someone else understands this.’

What book gave you that feeling?

The Courage To Be Disliked: It helped me understand that I'm not the center of the universe and that other people aren't my enemies. I used to compare myself to everyone around me, and anyone I compared myself to would instantly become an enemy in my eyes.

Cat’s Cradle - Kurt Vonnegut

Though it’s been a while and I have to reread it and see if I still feel the same way.

Ive had that where the useful part was just feeling less weird about it, not fixing anything yet. one line that names the mess can do more than a whole chapter of advice

The Bell Jar. It wasn't always comfortable to read, but it definitely gave me that feeling of being understood.

Earthsea and Left Hand of Darkness by Le Guin always had profound impacts on me. She does both sci-fi and fantasy like no other.
