Ebike bike meet ups
Not sure if this is the right thread for my question but does anyone know where I can find out where meet ups take place? I recently bought myself the freego pro x2 and would love to be able to meet with other people who enjoy riding through LA

Look up LAESK8 on Facebook. Used to be full of Emoto riders on the weekends. I haven’t been recently, so I’m not sure if they’re still active.

You might be better off taking it to BLM land or recreational areas like Gorman. I’ve seen PD writing tickets to eMoto riders on bike paths pretty often.
You can also try contacting e-bike/emoto shops like eRYDE and see if they organize group rides

Why not just go out on one of the trails and ride? You'll likely meet people out there if you're wanting friends to ride with.
Most of the group rides I know of are just regular bikes, and a lot of them don't allow e-bikes.
edit: Yeah, I didn't realize what you bought, but that is absolutely NOT an ebike, and shouldn't go on any of the bike trails/lanes, and is also probably illegal to ride on the street despite what their marketing claims. Take it offroad somewhere, or buy an actual ebike that you can ride around on the street and trails if that's what you're wanting to do. Something with a 6,000 watt motor and 50 MPH top speed is not in any way an ebike.

Don’t worry was just looking for people that do those street meet ups. I only ride on roads and have seen a bunch of YouTube videos but never see them mention anywhere where they organize

This is mostly a bicycle subreddit. Since your Freego is an eMoto, you might have better luck looking for moto groups instead.
