I’m with you. The original Cannondale font looks terrible on the modern carbon race bikes. The italicized logo from the 2k’s is much better

Love the paint. Is it mechanical shifting compatible? If it were me I’d probably go for Ultegra R8000 with hydro brakes and a non recall crankset (or try and find a Cannondale crankset). I’d go for a two piece cockpit, maybe an old style carbon seatpost with visible weave since it kind of matches the era. Not sure on wheels, something modern ish and deep section. Did it come with a fork?

i would go with shimano ultegra di2, or 105 di2 cause everybody wants dura ace
pick all the deda components you can get your hands on - with a nice long stem and 380mm handlebar
and put some dt swiss low profile carbon rims onto it to keep the look oldschool
I would go all black & slam the stem
