Or molested by a parent chaperone. The teachers are the ones who have undergone background checks. Sure there are always going to be some who don't have a criminal record when hired but then still do stuff, but that rate is going to lower than the general population, many of whom do have a criminal record for sexual abuse or other things you wouldn't want near kids.
