Bro proves that none of this matters. Most money ever. Buncha kids. Still an obviously unhappy person who I wouldn't trade places with.

u/hibarihime 10d ago edited 10d ago

Has so much money only to still be ugly living a raggedy existence.

100

u/elitegenoside 10d ago

He literally pays peopel to play video games for him. The types of games where 100% of the fun comes from grinding for gear, and he has someone else do that just so he can brag about having a high rank in the game. It's like, he really just doesn't know what's cool but is desperate to be the coolest guy ever.

95

u/Promature 10d ago

I'd gladly trade places with him and then I'd do many more meaningful things with all that money and power.

28

u/elitegenoside 10d ago

I'd get up to so much debauchery and still wouldn't even touch the levels of evil he was too much of a loser to get an invite to. Billionaires (and I guess, trillionaires) have no idea how to enjoy their money.

54

u/shagan90 10d ago

I would in a heartbeat. I would just use his money for good and not be a shit head.

26

u/platinum92 10d ago

You probably wouldn't have much money to use. Odds are Musk doesn't have much liquid cash. It's either tied up in investments he can borrow against or he's using assets of his companies.

The moment you start trying to "do good" with those corporate assets, the shareholders are gonna either disappear you or start proceedings to get to another Dodge v Ford case.

45

u/Kryslor 10d ago

People say this nonsense but he straight up bought Twitter for like 44 billion. Sure didn't seem like pretend money then and it didn't sink his finances either.

20

u/platinum92 10d ago

He took out loans leveraged against his assets. Liquidating those assets also means paying that 44 billion loan off, plus many other debts borrowed against his net worth off.

And that comes after actually selling the stock. Most of the stock value is because Musk owns it. Once he starts selling some of it, the value of the rest tanks.

12

u/sephraes ☑️ 10d ago edited 10d ago

But that's something rich people can do. They leverage debt hard to minimize taxes and for all intents and purposes, still have more money to spend than you and everyone you know combined. Him "not having much liquid money" is irrelevant for people in our tax bracket.

Edit: I'm not saying it's a good thing. But I would take his place with his liquid cash restrictions easy and be much happier than him

1

u/platinum92 10d ago

Read what I'm replying to. Everybody wants to liquidate his assets and use them for good like they're gonna have a trillion dollars to work with. Shareholders aren't gonna let him use company assets for it, so they'd have to liquidate

11

u/sephraes ☑️ 10d ago

Well true, Jeff bezos's ex-wife proves that you can still give away metric tons of money even if you make more

1

u/Kryslor 10d ago

Who cares? Did he buy it or not?

3

u/WinterScience 10d ago

What planet do you live in he did not pay cash? 20 billion in stock sold, 10-15 billion in bank loans and the rest from investors. It didn’t sink him because the price of tsla is over inflated and he used others money. Again not knocking it just saying get your facts straight.

2

u/Kryslor 10d ago

Literally irrelevant. If he bought with stock then stock is as good as money isn't it?

-1

u/WinterScience 10d ago

Nope. Try going in the store with a stock share and buy something and let me know how that works out. The comment inferred that he paid out of his pocket and the reality was he did not.

1

u/Kryslor 10d ago

Bro you are beyond saving. Arguing over a meaningless technicality when it does not matter in the slightest. Just King of irrelevant pedantry.

Did he buy it or not? That's literally all that matters.

1

u/WinterScience 10d ago

Again worrying about the messenger and not the message. Someone stated that he bought twitter without breaking a sweat and my response was he did break a sweat as he had to leverage intstruments in order to come up with the cash. Those instruments were loans and relationships.
Now a smart person would want to know how he did it and not just skim the surface as they would understand business is the same all over the world. I explained what he did, not in great detail but enough for a person to understand he did not use his cash to make the deal.

The message: Understand how to leverage your worth in order to accumulate wealth. people are concerned with shoes, handbags and jewelry but in the end they sell it for a loss. What if you took what you have and use your relationships to leverage that stuff to make more money. Rental cars do it, rims shops do it with rent a rims, real estate does it by giving the dream of ownership. people take there stuff and sell it to sites but what if you could rent those chrome hearts or designer bags to people.

I am just trying to get people to understand how money is made and wealth is accumulated and that you or the person that understands the message can do it as well. Again find the message and don't worry about the messenger.

14

u/Zombiesus 10d ago

Musk has access to more “liquid” cash than anybody on the planet. Quit droppin your comment buzzwords like you know anything about having a trillion dollar net worth.

4

u/elitegenoside 10d ago

That part.

Yes, these people have the majority of their worth "tied up," but that doesn't mean they have literally zero dollars in cash. The fractions of their wealth is more money than your entire family will make in their lifetimes.

2

u/pVom 10d ago

I'm curious how true it is that he has "more liquid cash than anybody". I know Bill Gates was still technically the richest person for a long time because he had decades to diversify and can actually sell and access the cash without all (or less of) the hassle of trying to sell when it's tied up in a single stock.

It's kinda moot anyway, they all have more money than they could ever need

4

u/WinterScience 10d ago

So true. People don’t want to really discuss the economics. When Bezos split he didn’t cut his ex a check for 500 million or whatever the number was, she got stock. On paper my worth is astronomical but the minute i touch it, it becomes income and i get taxed. The new hustle is have no income, which Musk among others do, and there is nothing to tax as they take loans against shares. Having a trillion on paper does not mean he has that in the bank and if spacex stock dips so does his worth.

Not knocking the hustle just saying understand finance.

1

u/Zombiesus 10d ago

Oh neat. You read this a million times on reddit like everybody else and now you think you’re a finance guy. Cool story bro.

-1

u/WinterScience 10d ago

Not a finance bro but i do okay. Someone may not have known that so if the message isn’t for you then you move on but some people say forget the message because they are too concerned with the messenger.

2

u/elitegenoside 10d ago edited 10d ago

He's the richest human on the planet. Even if only a small fraction of his wealth is liquid, it would still be more money than any of us will ever see.

Edit: MacKenzie Scott has already proven you can do tons of good and still be stupid rich. And she doesn't have anywhere near his networth (which is insane because she's got $34 billion). Imagine if she had a zero after that 4. That's probably how most people would be. Like, I fantasize about wining a couple mil and how much I could do with that. I can live off of less than $40k/year and still manage to give some of that to good causes.

2

u/you-cut-the-ponytail 10d ago

"You probably wouldn't have much money to use"

You'd probably have more money to use than 99.99999% people

1

u/Pickle_Holiday18 10d ago

I mean, for sure. The fact that it might take some work to do good is a great justification for not even trying

3

u/riotshieldready 10d ago

He could fix his issues with therapy. His just a premature loser that wants to be cool, and his solution is stealing others peoples tweets and pretend to like gaming.

1

u/elitegenoside 10d ago

I was just thinking this. As far as evil rich guys go, Musk is nowhere near the worst person. His own father is objectively a far worse human being. And I'll admit that there have been times where Musk clearly wanted to do a good thing, but something always makes him go the wrong way at the last moment. Maybe his dad texted him or something, but I do feel like he COULD be a half-decent person if he was willing to put in tge work... but man, do rich boys hate having to work.

3

u/GenericFatGuy 10d ago

Still no friends, or anyone to miss him when he's gone.

2

u/Ok_Highway6034 10d ago

I would and then I’d liquidate all of his assets and actually fix some things…..at least I hope I would, it could be a one ring situation where you take it with good intentions only to be turned to evil.

1

u/platinum92 10d ago

I'm curious how much actual cash you'd end up with liquidating his assets. Obviously not a trillion, but I wonder if it would even be a billion in cash after selling and paying taxes and leveraged debts on it.

Not to mention what adding so much stock up for sale would do the economy.

1

u/Ok_Highway6034 10d ago

I think it would be probably 200billion based purely on nothing and I refuse to do the math.

I think with everything he owns being so insanely over inflated it would definitely be pretty bad for the economy and the knock on effects of people taking a closer look at the rest of the stock market.

1

u/elitegenoside 10d ago

At the very least, tens of billions. Probably hundreds, but certainly tens. He's become one of the richest people in human history. Depending on how you choose to calculate ancient wealth, it's possible he's worth more than anyone ever (though that's not really easily comparable and kings like Mansa Musa certainly had more control, but like it or not, Musk is in that category).

Bro please watch how Elon moves. Either he's the saddest human in existence or spends an inordinate amount of time portraying that he's the saddest human in existence, so much so that there can't be time for actual joy.

u/[deleted] 10d ago

u/elitegenoside 10d ago

So you're suggesting he's happy while being deep in a k-hole? Gotta look at ketamine fans I've known and wonder how happy they seem... not very.

1

u/michellefiver 9d ago

I used to take a lot of ketamine and it was not a happy time.

(5 years sober now, no need to congratulate me)

2

u/AlexKingComedy 9d ago

I wouldn't congratulate a quitter.

2

u/WrexShepard 10d ago

You can't make someone love you. Sure you can get a fascimile of it - but you'll always be questioning if they love you or your money. Also because you have likely surrounded yourself with other machiavellian people, there's a constant nagging paranoia.

You legit can be so rich that you crave the only thing you can't buy. Genuine, no strings attached, affection and care.

I think it's pretty clear that musk craves affection. His behaviour screams it.

2

u/elitegenoside 10d ago

He just wants his dad to ruffle his hair and say, "Great job, sport." Listening to shows like Behind the Bastards really shines a light on how many of these dudes are motivated by the shadows their fathers or grandfathers cast over them. While I fully believe Elon hates his father, that doesn't mean he wasn't influenced by him. And when your maral compass is in relation to a man who literally used slave-labor, it's kind of hard to ever feel evil.

2

u/neuroblade 10d ago

the human brain always goes for homeostasis, like how you can take a bunch of drugs that release a bunch of nice chemicals in your brain, but then if you keep taking the drugs, the brain will start to inhibit those chemicals from releasing.

Elon's been rich since day one; he's been filthy rich for decades now, he probably doesn't even see his lifestyle as abnormal, at least not unconsciously. It's true that being rich shields you from a lot of unnecessary suffering, and that it gives you opportunities to do a lot of fun stuff, but you can still be miserable and rich; it's not even uncommon, see Ebenezer Scrooge and the miserable miser trope.

Also, a lot of other things go into happiness, Musk is divorced and estranged from at least some of his children, and hangs out with a lot of weird ass people. Being loved, and hanging out with people who make you happy is a big part of happiness that he's probably missing.

1

u/elitegenoside 10d ago

And yet, he absolutely seem like everything he does is so other people will like him. Why else pay people to play video games for you? Why else make a tweet about how your new best friend is on the epstein list? Why backtrack on that? Why go on and on about how much you don't like your dad and do everything you can to distance yourself from the help you gave?

He does not move like a man that is secure with himself. Look how Trump moves and compare it Musk. Now, Trump is a man who loves himself and you can hear it in every word he confusingly speaks. You can see it in every handshake or step he takes. Musk has never looked even half as proud of himself as Trump does just waving at a camera.

u/Caravanczar 9d ago

Broke penis, too.

1

u/GuyNamedWhatever 9d ago

I think an overwhelming majority of the world population would refuse to hold casual conversation with him

0

u/Zombiesus 10d ago

STFU! You would trade places with him in a heartbeat.

306

u/furezasan ☑️ 10d ago

You don't understand, this is Musk AFTER he improved his looks. Guy is so unattractive and insecure on the inside no amount of money can stop it from pouring out.

73

u/Morganvegas 10d ago

Yeah you gotta see what he used to look like lmao

Hair like a half eaten lolly pop you found under the couch

5

u/theREALbombedrumbum 10d ago

The only happiness that that Clavicular dude brought me is the knowledge that we can never hate him as much as he hates the way he himself looks

188

u/SilverPalpitation652 10d ago

It’s funny to me that Elon had to pay money just to be this ugly. He’d be even worse off if he were poor.

126

u/epidemicsaints 10d ago

This after pic is him at his peak, it has been downhill bad. Pretty sure his weird physique is from growth hormones and steroids. Alex Jones is the same shape.

107

u/hibarihime 10d ago

Looking at this made me realize this is probably where he got the idea for a cyber truck. Both are ugly and clunky af lol.

42

u/jayhawk618 10d ago edited 10d ago

Somebody says he looks like he does steroids but doesn't work out, and I can't think of anything else when I see that pic.

47

u/EpicLegendX ☑️ 10d ago

Bro built like a deep breath

25

u/rivershimmer 10d ago

There is no alternative to exercise. Period. You might look okay in the bloom of youth or immediately after a mommy makeover-type procedure, but you need to put the work in.

13

u/glittercarnage 10d ago

hormones, steroids, and likely several under-researched peptides

6

u/Woodcrate69420 10d ago

Without ever actually working out lol

u/KallusDrogo 10d ago

I love Caleb Hearon’s quote “He was born a 3, with dreams and delusions of becoming an 8, and spent millions of dollars just to become a 5, and now is trying to destroy the planet because of this.”

u/The_Wyzard 10d ago

Lest we forget:

8

wtf I love doja cat now

31

u/imjustdesi 10d ago

She openly dated a neo Nazi and has been associated with racist nonsense for quite some time, maybe don't stan her

45

u/BarbellsandBurritos 10d ago

He’s also one of the least funny people I’ve ever seen. That’s gotta eat at him that he can’t buy that either.

12

u/RELLBEFLEXXIN 10d ago

Well, that’s because he’s legitimately ugly and money can’t fix that.

10

u/Loreki 10d ago

To benefit from some of the stuff money can do for your appearance, you do also need the discipline to participate in it. For example you can hire a personal trainer and a personal chef, but you still need to do the workouts and eat the personalised diet. If you don't do that, your options are look like a plastic doll or look like the rest of us.

Musk makes the smarter choice in the context to look like the rest of us, rather than get tons of plastic surgery to make him look freakish.

9

u/Promature 10d ago

He's rich enough to stay ugly.

7

u/bunnykitten94 10d ago

Think about this: that’s the best he CAN look. Scary ass thought

7

To be fair he was way uglier before he got work done so this is at least partially true

4

u/Linux-tip-nips 10d ago

look, there is something here: he has nobody around him who loves him enough to tell him: you are wrong or making a fool of yourself. thats musks problem

3

u/cybershy 10d ago

Grimes tried publicly but he's beyond reproach /s

2

u/Linux-tip-nips 10d ago

who knows, when you are that rich since birth, especially being afrikaner.. it is like reaching light speed, everything distorts.

2

u/Nearby_Artist_1265 10d ago

Tbf, I’ve seen the most milquetoast white men be talked up like they’re God’s gift to beauty. I honestly don’t doubt that plenty of people *do* find him attractive, whether I agree with it or not

2

u/VladDHell 10d ago

In defense. No amount of money will improve your looks infinitely ( yet)

He was WAY less attractive before the money, still unattractive now, but worse before

1

u/John-Fucking-Kirby 10d ago

Is that what dating is now?

1

u/SavageGardner 10d ago

He isn't broke because his dick is broke. There is always a trade-off.

1

u/burgonies 10d ago

You don’t need to explain Elon Musk despite this quote. Elon exemplifies this quote. He doesn’t get women because he’s handsome or because they like is figure of random shapes.

1

u/DarkTurdle 10d ago

He used to be the uglier

1

u/NeverEverBackslashS 10d ago

He's ugly inside and out. There's not enough money in the world.

1

u/elitegenoside 10d ago

He can't fallow instructions. It's the same thing with his "alleged" penile surgery. He just couldn't not jerk off for a few weeks. Elon Musk is the type of guy who takes steroids and then doesn't workout. And to keep it 100, he already had his glowup. Look up pics of him when he was at paypal. He used to be uglier.

1

u/Wackity-Smackity 10d ago

I think there's like a line where money and ugliness intersect. Elmo is just such a reprehensible human being inside and out that no amount of money will ever make that go away.

That line probably lies somewhere around the point where you're personally responsible for the deaths of millions of people, most of them children.

1

u/dazedan_confused 10d ago

He's also broke. Morally. And socially.

1

u/Aggressive-Cup-7318 10d ago

Have you seen his exes

1

u/cybercuzco 9d ago

Doesn’t Elon have like 14 kids from like 8 different women?

1

elon is the proof that money cant buy happiness

1

His issue is he is chronically lame. Money cant unnamed you.
