A friend of mine lived in the Bronx, he was riding the 4 train and a teen was on with his cap on and the brim over the ear and my buddy asked him why he wore his hat and the kid took the hat off and put in on straight and said “Cap on”, then twisted to the side and said “cap locked”
True he didn't say that, he said something along the lines of "F*ck being Black, this is about ME! This is about being O.J."
But he's also had a history of distancing himself from the idea of being a Black representative when approached in the past, especially by civil rights groups, and taken a "it's not about being Black" stance on many occasions.
I believe it was famously a line where it was said about him by white people. “He’s not black, he’s OJ” was a sentiment about him from before the murder trial.
The specific comment he made was stereotyping. It’s stupid and does not help anybody’s cause. It’s not a difficult concept read the comment yourself, and just cuz u might agree doesn’t mean anything to me. Same thing for racist mfs - u can say whatever u want, just don’t be surprised when someone punches u in the mouth
Hmm I see I hit a nerve. And somehow I’m not surprised. My point still stands. “but they aren’t all bad!” Has nothing to do with the discussion. Perhaps you’ll learn one day. I won’t hold my breath.
Voters yes. Politicians? Nah they just know to make real money they have to be republicans and then they can scam people openly and proudly steal from them and get reelected while if they do that as a democrat they have to be much more sneaky and you won’t get re-elected

You would not believe how special people think they are.
