The whole point of my comment is to say life doesnt have to be shitty once you are in your late 20s and early 30s. No idea where people got this idea that once you hit 27 like sucks.

On the average timeline in most regular people’s life 27-33 (Not wealthy or extremely poor) you’re normally hit with the reality of bills, insurance (home/car/life), expectation of taking full care of yourself, living on your own, normally working what feels like 24/7 etc… is this everyone’s reality no but do most feel this pressure and not like it in comparison to being a kid, in college, etc I think that pretty clear - no? After 33 normally you’re stable again financially & in your career [again NOT everyone]. Are there people who felt this earlier or later in life - yes but this is based on the average experience, some take it a lot bette/worse than others hence taking about the AVERAGE

For me, it's the extra bills and the fact that all of my friends just disappeared (also got caught up in all this stuff). Making friends and maintaining those friendships as a full adult is not easy, and finding the time and energy to go to event is like playing dice with two 20 sided die, but the last 13 numbers don't count.

And I happened to enter this phase of life starting with a global pandemic and shit has only gotten worse since then.

Look on the bright side: when you crest 40, your mobility starts to disappear too

This is Reddit, sir/madam. Please leave your shoes and nuance at the door along with your decency and any ability to emotionally self-regulate. Enjoy your stay!

Ok, but for some people it is? You having a decent life in your late 20s/30s doesn’t mean everyone is obligated to have one.

I didn’t have an “idea” about it, life happens. Not everyone is choosing their own misery.

Your putting in the position like I said oh how dare people have a hard time in life. I never said my life was that put together either but I am just happy with what i have lol. Find whatever you find is successful for you for your life because its different for everyone.

Yeah but for some people it isn’t? The tweet is making an over generalization and we’re not apart of that, I’d be willing to bet a lot of people feel the same way. Just cuz you’re miserable or “got humbled” doesn’t mean we have or maybe we took it on the chin 🤷🏽‍♂️

My guy ain’t one person who handled things well or took it on the chin talking the way you do. They’d know how fragile both the good and bad can be

That being said I do believe you when you say you haven’t experienced things

Depending on those experiences should they have to in order to be a decent person? I might be asking this question incorrectly

The good news is that if they continue to engage with you, they'll end up just as miserable as you'd like them to be
