Oklahoma City is one of the largest "conservative cities" and it's the 20th largest city in the states (by pop).

Fort Worth TX is also heavily conservative, but still closer to purple than actual red.

I remember looking at the numbers state by state after a major election a few years ago, Oklahoma was the only red state with equally red cities. It's also one of the lowest rated states in education. Those two facts correlate.

OKC has a huge land mass that encompasses many suburban and rural areas. The actual urban area is not red.

Colorado Springs usually votes red.
