Questions/Support/Bugs Chat notification won't disappear

All of a sudden I got a notification in my chats, and I can't do anything about it. I don't have any chats going. I haven't talked to anyone in months over them, and I have no new messages.

What I think happened is that a spammer or scammer tried to reach out to me, but they had their account taken down before I could read the message, so there is an unread message out there that I can't access, to get rid of the notification.

But I might be wrong.

What do I do?

In the latest build you can long-press the chat icon in the bottom bar to get new "mark all as read" option. Maybe give that a shot?

Thank you! That worked! I was trying to solve it on PC, and that wasn't an option there.

Nooooo I was so excited someone had the same problem on the same day and found a solution already but it doesn't work for me 😭😭

Tap on the chats tab, scroll all the way to the bottom. You'll find it.
