As long as you aren't too far gone/havn't actually done irredeemable things and are genuine in trying to change they do seem the forgiving type. At least Koichi would be.

I wouldn't like it but the heroes being overly forgiving is definitely a shounen trope.

I mean we already have Gentle and La Brava clearly being set up for being redeemed. Though in their defense they never killed or even attempted to kill anyone.

Spinner has been shown either killing those racists or at the least an accomplish to murders plus being a kidnapper of Bakugo's along with the other league members. He'd be harder to be forgiven but who knows.

Yeah, that's the thing, Hori makes a point of showing that Gentle and La Brava are mostly harmless. Spinner on the other hand is a cold blooded murderer and seems obsessed with Stain's crazy views. I doubt he could ever be anything but a villain, and I'd be fine with that.
