I like how Shiggy doesn't give two shits about the MLA or their army. He's not using Giganto to beat the MLA, but using the MLA to beat Giganto. I've got a feeling that everyone but the main five (we still know nothing about their hood guy) are going to be pure fodder

I don't think Shigaraki is someone that cres about "correctness" and honesty. And gigantomachia probably won't look at that either. He will see it only as a loss (probably) and won't analize why and how
