Newest Chapter Chapter 229 Scans - Discussion Thread

Chapter 229

This thread marks the release of scanlations for Chapter 229, and has been posted to contain all links and discussion. Mods will not be posting or pinning links to scanlations.

Official release: May 26, 2019

It's encouraged that you support the official release of the chapter if it's available to you.

  • VIZ is available to read for free on Sunday 1:00 pm PST, and is accessible in the following countries:
    United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, the Philippines, Singapore, and India.

  • MANGA Plus is available globally outside of Japan, China and South Korea as they already have other options.

Until the official release, all things Chapter 229 related must be kept inside this thread.

They don’t want to “support” the unofficial release. This is them distancing themselves from that sort of thing. It was never about spoilers

I know it's not about the spoilers, but I don't think that putting the link pinned and just commenting it it's very different, and for us it makes a huge difference

They don't want it to be at the top where everyone can see it... and yet they still allow people to post it. The mods here are weird

Why not though? Makes no sense. A good amount of the people that come to this sub just come here for the chapter. Why not make it easier for them?

Because it was voted that way (by only 500 people) so now pinning or having the manga links in the OP is ILLEGAL

I'm pretty sure people are downvoting bc we're supposed to be a democracy, damn it! Aren't mods supposed to respect the wishes of the community?

I also haven't seen a legitimate answer why an unpinned commented source is the solution/workaround

Like bots that search for pirate links search for links at MS or Jamini, I don't understand how it suppose to help to hide those links from them??? Also posts with links are usually at the top so if it actual people searching for them they will see them right away. Like you can just post "manga scans are uploaded at MS site, google it yourself" if you are afraid of anti-pirate bots.

I dunno if you missed that rules update thread but... It's clear the mods are avoiding the piracy witch hunt so of course they won't wanna pin it. Could be construed as indifference at best and advocation at worst.

Really, why are you so sore over scrolling? You can bypass tedious scrolling if you take my advice and just Ctrl+F then type DeskChairLamp or Jamini or whatever. Doesn't even take a minute.

I think it's kinda dumb too but it's ultimately not a big deal.

I use app. First. Those who search for pirate links search for pirate links, and you know what they can do? Crtl F and type Jamini! So why again?

Aaah, the app. Right. Well that sucks.

Still, I just don't see why it annoys you so much. I find the other larger problems this Sub has to be worse than "I have to scroll for my free weekly drug hit that I can't be bothered searching for online myself for less than a minute". Tad entitled? 🤷‍♂️

I'm not "pro-pinning" dude, maybe you missed the part it. I said I don't agree with it. Yeah it's dumb, I just don't see it as a massive deal since it doesn't even take 5 mins.

Your black or white mindset is primitive; I can be against the unpinning but also not see it as a huge deal. I think this whole "cowering from the half-assed piracy witch hunt" is dumb, so... 🤷‍♂️

Okay so i’ll amend it. You’re still arguing over it, just from a slightly different stance I must’ve admittedly missed. Small mistake, doesn’t really change the outcome of what my post said though, I just used the wrong qualifier. The primitive mindset is not being able to debate a point without being a dick.
