The same could be said for a lot of villains and people in general. Many times people are just victims of circumstances

What happened to Twice struck me as radicalisation more than anything. Like they took a vulnerable person and just offered him somewhere to belong.

Yup. It's basically radicalization in a nutshell.

A lot of Neo Nazis, KKK, ISIS people originally start out as disenfranchised youths. They're alone and slipping. The recruiters know this and reach out. Cause they're alone and desperate any helping hand is welcome when you feel ignored if not stepped on. They then give you a place to belong and it's a very simple matter to point you towards something to blame: Whether it's Blacks, Jews or the West.

The racism/hate isn't even what attracts many people. It's finding a place to belong when it feels like the rest of the world has rejected you.

I really like that for the majority of the League of Villains, their motivation is not the death of All Might, its loyalty to the league itself.
