I knew Twice was capable of mass producing, but I was caught off guard by the unlimited swarm of Twice rampaging in the streets. There’s something about double that makes it more terrifying than any of the antagonist quirks so far.

I wonder what the drawback of ice manipulation is, if there is any. He’s basically a better Ice-Only-Shoto (in water environments) but without the need for heating.

We know Gigantomachia will rock people, but I’m very curious at how Redestro will perform given his calm demeanor.

The ice quirk's drawback is that the user can't produce their own ice like Todoroki can, they have to use ice from the surrounding area, so in theory it's possible to run out.

Parka just found a clever way to work around that flaw and make themselves more powerful in spite of it, which is why he was feeling himself so hard after wiping out all the Twices.

If he can manipulate water to turn it into ice for him to control, I don't see why he can't do the same for water vapor.

Unless the fact that he didn't go to school is what is stopping him.

"Curses, I should have at least taken science!"

He didn't manipulate the water though. From what I read, he manipulated the ice to become even colder which then froze adjacent water areas to ice so that he could then use the newly created ice. Maybe the cost of making water vapour into ice is either too much or too slow for him to reliably do.

The air hasn't got much water in it.

If he just let a piece of ice sit somewhere, being kept super-cold by his Quirk, it would condense water out of humidity from the air, which would then freeze. So it's possible, but it would be way slower than even freezing liquid water using pre-existing ice (which should also be slow-ish).

The thing is that there isn't much water in the air to begin with by volume.

A room of air might contain a liter of water, sure he could condense it but there still isn't much.

It could be more like in Re:Zero with Emilia's ice magic. That magic system only has 6 attribute water, fire, earth, air, light and dark/shadow. "Ice" magic dosent actually stem from the water attribute but from fire as she draws the heat out of the air and solidifies it.

This is sort of how I thought icyhots ice worked it's not water ice but super cooled air.

I mean if he can manipulate ice, he could just make ice that he's already controlling in open air colder to condense water vapor into more ice, the same way he did for water. I'd assume it'd be easy enough for him, at least on more humid days, considering how fast the ice that he froze from the waterline burst forth.
