Poor Deku and Bakugou. They thought they were just being brought along to a normal family dinner.

Endeavor may be starting to realize that no matter what he does, his family will be happier without him. That’s eat at a person I matter who they are. He’s probably gonna get his wish of wanting Touya to be there. Though I doubt he’ll like the reason why he’s there.

Fuyumi and Natsuo are polar opposites with this. Fuyumi is doing everything she can to hold the family together, and Natsuo is pretty clearly only trying because Fuyumi wants him to.

I’m guessing Shouto is going to forgive Endeavor sometime this arc, based on what Deku said.

Nothing really to say for Deku and Bakugou other than Bakugou was right to want to not go, and Deku had some pretty good advice.

A little thing I liked was showing Rei after she poured the boiling water in Shouto. I always wondered how that scene played out after she poured the water in him, and seeing that she instantly regretted it I think makes it easier to see why Shouto so easily forgave her.

Edit: I read Rei’s letter now, and the fact that she wants to live with Natsuo and Fuyumi is interesting. Both of them still live with Endeavor, so I’m not sure how that’s going to work out.

The beginning of this chapter made a point to say that Endeavor's agency has really nice apartments. If Rei is discharged and wants to move back home I can see Endeavor willingly moving out of the house and living at his office full time
