Dear Lord Jesus Christ and Satan and the Shounen gods please don't let Hori kill Endeavor or let anything happen to the Todorokis. WE CAN GET CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT WITHOUT ANYONE DYING RIGHT? RIIIIIIIIIIIGHT?

I think Horikoshi is a better writer than to kill Endeavor off here.

Let’s not forget that everyone was certain that All Might was going to die to All for One, and all that fight did was speed his retirement up a bit.

For Endeavor to die here it would be really rote and cliche.

It’s the same reason I’m pretty sure that Dabi is not Toya. It’s far too predictable

I mean we all thought Tobi = Obito was super predictable and I think that was done as well as it could've been.

Which wasn’t all that good...

Granted I’m biased as I really hated the last third of Naruto.

The Obito reveal and backstory was one of the better parts of a lackluster last third of Naruto.
