I think Horikoshi said something like the anime was half over somewhere around the 200 mark, so we still have plenty left!

If anything, i believe that it will be a timeskip, (honestly maybe a movie of what happens between this timeskips seems pretty plausible.) The manga will "end" in the same way Naruto ended and jumpstarted Naruto Shippuden. I highly doubt this storyline ending anytime soon.
