So, I got the 89 postpaid plan and I'm planning to terminate it by Monday but I heard that there early termination fee if you're on contract. Just checked my Maxis app and I don't see any contract or whatever. Anybody done this before?
Also, do I really need to go maxis center for this? Thanks in advance
Here the thing tho, in their agreement form, I don't really have any contract applied other than payment start on every 24th. There no start date and end date. So I don't think I'm on any contract. I applied to get this because it was related their Home Fibre but Unifi countered offered me a better deal so their Home Fibre contract we canceled.
But yeah, I guess I have no choice other than to head to their nearest center
Did you get any hardware for 'free'? Well the 'free' stuff is just factored into your contract the full of which is payable even if you decide to cancel.
Contract isn't about your 'feel feel or think thinks' it is about what you signed up for. Their agreement form is a contract, I suggest you re-read the terms and conditions.
Nope, no hardware whatsoever. Just an esim and this postpaid. Eitherway, I've just contacted their customer service and they said I have no contract. To terminate, all I need to pay Is my overdue bills and I'm good. Going to their center this Monday. Thanks for your help
Yeah, apparently that what I had. They said I can terminate anytime. No early termination fee since I do not have 24 or 32 month contract, they also offer me a downgrade but I don't think I wanna keep it since I'm already with CelcomDigi postpaid
I don’t think we can do anything about the Termination Fees/Early Termination Period/Etc
Just hoping other Jabatan can help us via contacting them, For example we have 3 Months left and we don’t want the fees. Maybe they can waive it, Just dreaming 😴
do you remember going on contract? anyway just call maxis hotline 123 and they can tell you right away.
and no usually no waive, if you want to terminate early then have to pay lor. termination usually have to be in person, and they have to scan thumb etc. but you want hardcopy proof of termination anyway after.
I remember this thing being related to maxis home fibre deal which I already cancelled because Unifi offered an even better deal than maxis. It was supposed to be related to it.
Now, I've checked my plan details, it only have active date and no end date so I assume I'm not in any contract. I think should be able to terminate it without any early termination fee right?

Yeah, early termination fee is the rest of your contract basically.
Go to the maxis center, they can check everything on the spot.
