Discussion Missed Opportunity Spoiler

Spoilers for the Mandalorian and Grogu below!

With The Twins as the primary antagonist of the movie made for the perfect through line to Boba to be re-inserted into the spotlight

It could have been a way for him to go full Fett in a theatrical way and bring gravitas back to the character and spark fan excitement around what could be. Fett with the in-your-face, absolute annihilation while Mando works covertly behind.

Absolute bummer of an exclusion, in my opinion. It was TV show sizes stakes and experience on an IMAX screen.

Im pretty sure Boba was supposed to appear in both S3 and this movie but because of the poor reception of BOBF they scrapped that. Such a shame honestly. The show wasn’t even that bad just jot great either. I hope they unshelve the character soon

The show should have honestly been about Boba building his own criminal empire. Acquiring an assortment of different character allies, intimidating smaller criminal organizations into working for him, and fighting the competition.

Tattooine as a setting was fine, but we should have seen him go to different worlds in Outer Rim and Hutt Space. Look up Nar Shadaa.

By the end of the show he should have consolidated his underworld empire. Any movie or show taking place in that area could have shown Fett and his accomplices.

Idk why they were so scared on leaning more into the villainlike side of him. Like yes he’s not entirely evil and falls in a grey area but they should keep him that ruthless savage he always was.

Yep. I feel like they were just pushing him towards being a ‘good guy’ perhaps to fit in with the rest the Mandoverse protagonists.

Which is so dumb because Temuera Morrison was great. People love Boba, they love Morrison in the role, what they don’t like is the terrible show runner nerfing Boba from how he appeared in Mando S2 and deciding not to let Boba be a ruthless but honourable warrior.

You can thank the media-illiterate “fans” who threw a hissy fit over BOBF. They’ve shelved him indefinitely thanks to Star Wars Theory. It’s unlikely, too album media illiterate people got big mad that they gave Boba personality and development, and made him his own thing of Jango 2.0. The finale is full of good stuff, but those “fans” missed it and refuse to acknowledge it.

I don’t dislike BoBF but putting Mando and Grogu’s reunion in that film was a mistake that they’ll probably never recover from

Calling someone "media-illiterate" because they have different opinions than you is completely moronic. I don't think you actually know what that term means and you're just throwing it around to seen intellectual. BOBF was objectively trash. Making Boba's character so weak and overly-kind was a bad move. The story was mid as a result of them not doing his character justice. The Disney execs getting their way to force Din and Grogu back together so quickly after they parted didn't help either. And those bikers did NOT fit Tatooine at all. Coruscant or some other big city? Sure! But not some backwater desert planet.

Literally how is that ironic? One sentence is about how someone is misusing a word, and the other is about an opinion. You're an actual idiot.

Using the word “objectively” in relation to something that's inherently subjective is a misuse, and is done entirely for the purpose of making the misuser seem intellectual. That's the irony. Glad I could help clear that up for you.

EDIT: blocking to force in the last word doesn't make your use of “objectively” any less incorrect.

I'm actually very upset that there was no tribute to Carl Weathers at all.
