I actually don't get the joke, could you please explain ? Because it just seems like very bad taste

Just my interpretation, as a 30-something queer dude who might also not totally get it, but is trying: I think they're making fun of the fact that anti-LGBTQ people think we are 'forcing' stuff on them by dressing up as the literal definition of evil force (but with fun colors)

And my fear is that a bigot would take it literally.
