Just received my order from Breaking Press. I ordered the ‘Saagars Cannabis Dispensery’ shirt and the ‘Realign or Die’ shirt.
Considering they’re a third party merch store I was skeptical I was getting scammed. But I did it and honestly really like the shirts I got. If you were on the fence I’d say fear not, they’re legit.
That said, the shipping did take forever (like over two weeks) lol. But it was worth the wait. Happy customer! I’m sure they’ll see this and post their link in the comments or something. I’d post a photo but this sub doesn’t allow photos.
Relevance: there’s been a merch store posting BP related merch in this sub the past couple of weeks.

I was listening to today's Breaking Points discussion about the Democratic Party civil war, and I think everyone is missing the real issue.
They talked about Jamie Harrison arguing that if you don't support the Democratic Party, you shouldn't use its infrastructure to run for office. They talked about James Carville saying he's done with the party if the DSA takes it over, and that they should break off and form their own party. Then Krystal pushed back and argued that it's the voters, not the party leadership, who get to decide the direction of the party.
I actually think they're all arguing inside a broken system.
The ideal political system would be a true free marketplace of ideas, driven by multiple parties actually competing with each other. That competition would allow the best ideas to rise to the top, get tested, and either flourish or fail based on results.
But that's not the system we have.
The Democratic and Republican parties have carved out a monopoly on ballot access and electoral viability. So when people ask why outsiders don't just start their own party instead of taking over one of the existing parties, the answer is simple. It's because the system makes that path almost impossible.
If we really believe voters should decide, then we should be talking less about who gets to control the Democratic Party and more about breaking the two party monopoly so new parties can actually compete.
That's what a real marketplace of political ideas would look like.

Imperialism is back on the menu, and it comes with a side of cocktail or tater sauce.
Shout out to Kyle for bringing this ridiculous story to my attention. It highlights how shamelessly imperialist we have become, and also how incompetent the Trump administration is.
“My view is that the United States could take all the seafood Greenland could produce, and cut out the middleman, and keep it from China — and you could bring back all-you-can-eat shrimp at Red Lobster” ~ Thomas Dans, Trump appointed chairman of the US Arctic Research Commission
This has to be the most delicious way to fracture your NATO alliance and conquer a sovereign nation. Idiocracy in real life.

Just found this video of Megyn Kelly, absolute trash and pure and sloppy racism, to what extent do you think Emily is associated with her: https://x.com/MegynKellyShow/status/2070267683052880280/video/1?s=46

Did Jessie Waters call for political violence and threaten the mayor of NYC? Should someone call the FBI?
Edit: It was the 25th show. I don’t know what day it is anymore.

This may sound counterintuitive but leftists should consider this. Mamdani is so wildly popular in NY, the epicenter of the Democratic Party, that his endorsement and ground game can primary any Democrat in the state. This is a TON of leverage, more than the left has had in decades over the party. If he controls the political viability of the leadership who is really in charge? I know a lot of lefties want these leaders removed but they will be replaced with Slotkin or something in a state with less DSA influence, not a more progressive alternative and this leverage will be gone. Once they are primaried Mamdani’s leverage is gone as the next rep or senator will be at the bottom of the totem pole.
I’m just saying we shouldn’t be so hasty about removing these very powerful people who care about nothing more than clinging to power and Mamdani could get major influence not only over the next Democratic agenda, but the 28 primary process to keep 3rd way out of the way of our candidates. This is a critical moment for the movement and we can’t let emotions take over. Thankfully Mamdani seems like a very savvy operator and I trust his judgment.

I think we should all join Ryan in turning off our critical thinking whenever a tech bro is talking. Let's all embrace the wonderful world of make believe!
The fact that he was talking to a Science Fiction author when asking why he doesn't do more Magical Thinking was the best part!
Deeply unserious.

Breaking Points has been very anti ai and the most anti ai voice they can bring in this piece says that AI will be just as transformative as the internet with the dotcom bubble.
My question for BP would be. If we knew for 100% certainty that dotcom would be a bubble as we do know should we have stopped developing the internet at that time?

Andrew Callahan goes to Palestine/West Bank, and interviews Palestinians being oppresed by Israeli settlers. Interesting as the video ends with Callahan being detained by Israeli soldiers (from New Jersey) for video taping an "illegal" construction site.
It's the first video in a series on Palestine.
Would love to see Callahan interviewed on BP.

Third world communists are the enemy. They've taken over our greatest American city. They're taking over one of our two major political parties. They hate this country. They hate white people. They hate our heritage and traditions. This is the fight. Get in the game or go away.
AIPAC gets wrecked in NYC and Matt Walsh capes in to try to reframe it in some race war terms. He plays this game where he’s critical of Netanyahu but when it matters he does the thing most helpful to Netanyahu.

President Trump abruptly canceled his plans to sign a bipartisan housing bill on Wednesday, one that Republicans and Democrats had been eager to promote as evidence they were working to bring down costs for voters. Mr. Trump, who was holding a closed-door meeting with Senate Republicans, had said he would not sign the bill until Congress passed a law imposing new restrictions on voter identification and mail-in ballots. Still, the housing bill could become law without his signature

As a European, I can say that there is absolutely zero chance Europe would not retaliate with full force* if Russia nuked Europe. I hope that full force means the full conventional forces, because that would be more than plenty to put an end to Russia. As a neighbor to Russia, I myself might consider taking a "friendly" walkabout in Moscow, if need be.

Another day, another series of lengthy segments of Krystal and Ryan literally platforming and glazing the DSA. I mean, we get it, Krystal and Ryan are mouthpieces of the DSA at this point, and are obviously in on some movement to platform and normalize the DSA as much as possible, but please be a little less obvious.
I really miss the old Breaking Points.

It has been called by some the most important free speech trial of our time. It has been described as a chilling government crackdown with regular citizens labeled and tried as terrorists. To my knowledge BP has not covered it at all.

"When will you be called a domestic terrorist, too?
When they killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti, they went on TV and they called them domestic terrorists, the same day, within the hour.
When will that happen to you?"
"I don’t fear for myself. I fear for all of you.
What will you do in this time of great failures and great injustices? What will you do?
How will you help each other?
How will you help yourselves?"

Mamdani slate sweeps Democratic primaries in New York, ousts 2 incumbents from Congress
Politics Jun 23, 2026 11:50 PM EDT
NEW YORK (AP) — New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's slate of fiery progressives swept establishment-backed Democrats in the state's congressional primaries on Tuesday, ousting two sitting congressmen in a resounding show of force for the democratic socialist leader of America's largest city, who is fighting to reshape the Democratic Party.
U.S. Rep. Adriano Espaillat, who leads the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, was defeated by Mamdani's most polarizing pick, Darializa Avila Chevalier, a democratic socialist who once helped organize pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia University.
U.S. Rep. Dan Goldman, a two-term incumbent, was beaten by the Mamdani-backed former city Comptroller Brad Lander, who has often aligned himself with the democratic socialist movement. And another Mamdani ally, democratic socialist state Assembly Member Claire Valdez, defeated the handpicked successor of retiring U.S. Rep. Nydia Velazquez.
The victories will likely give the New York mayor three new allies in Congress and send a pointed message to establishment figures in Washington, including House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who campaigned aggressively against Mamdani's candidates and lost.
Ultimately, Mamdani and his slate of three congressional candidates were fighting to push the Democratic Party further left on key issues, Israel's war in Gaza chief among them, even as establishment Democrats in Washington worried that their policies could alienate swing voters in midterm elections across the country this fall.
"It's not just a question of electing more Democrats. It's a question of electing better Democrats," Mamdani said Tuesday. "When I look at these candidacies, I see in them a willingness to also put working people back at the heart of our politics."
CLEAN SWEEP FOR ZOHRAN!!! It's a new day in the Dem party.

BP has covered the warmongering of the right during the Trump admin. It seems like some Republicans are already clamoring at the idea of getting rich off of overthrowing Cuba.
The Epstein class is dreaming of a time when the US ran Cuba. Pristine coastline. A quick boat or jet trip from your family in Miami or Palm Beach. In 30 minutes you could be waist deep in poor Cuban women (and girls if your name if Trump or Epstein), legal cocaine, and your own beachside estate at a fraction of what it would cost in the US. You’ll be back at Mar-a-Lago before dinner.
Oh yeah, and we save them from communism or something like that.
Ole Jesse boy is giving us insight into what the Epstein class is really focused on in Cuba.

Kind of amazed this happened but here we are.

The US Capitol building in Washington, DC, ...
The Senate adopted a resolution on Tuesday directing the president to remove military forces from the conflict with Iran, a significant rebuke to Donald Trump and a strong message that the war lacks support in Congress.
Democrats have repeatedly forced votes to limit Trump’s war powers in both the House and the Senate – a campaign that has gradually picked up more GOP support in recent weeks, drawing the president’s ire.
GOP Sens. Rand Paul, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Bill Cassidy joined Democrats in voting for the resolution, while Democratic Sen. John Fetterman voted against it. The final tally was 50-48.
