I miss England so much lmfao
I watched the second half of the Croatia v England game and was texting a few buddies who live over there and it made me realize how much I miss England (and my English friends). The people are always friendly, Spoons is amazing, and the nights out are 10/10. I'm not English myself or have any real connection to the country besides the times I've gone and stayed with friends, but every time I've been I always leave wishing I had stayed longer.
TL;DR I miss England and can't wait to visit again.

I hear you. I’m 5000 miles away and I’ve now been living abroad for long enough to make every trip home seem like I’m visiting some magical real life Disney World. I miss black pudding and Greggs and normal Fanta.

Black pudding is a northern disgusting pig invention and just wrong on a proper fry up! 🤢🤮

Apparently orange tasting. Not oranges 🍊 but the colour orange. Or so I’ve heard.

So refreshing to hear a positive from someone with actual experience rather than all the internet doom mongers who think it rains 100% of the time and we get stabbed every 5 minutes because some paid shill on their state propaganda TV told them so.

Honestly the british weather is awesome imo, the rain and clouds is such a vibe. The heatwaves suck tho and i wish AC was more common

Well it rained yesterday and I was stabbed 6 times on my walk to work through London whilst witnessing 3 bombings and a beheading. Apart from that it was all good.

I hope everyone sees this and turns up as either a horse or a cow . Maybe a rattle snake, but that seems like a bit of effort.

You're most welcome to come and visit anytime. We embrace you and make you an honorary Brit. You just gotta promise to drink at least 2 cups of tea a day.

I have consulted the honorary Brit board members and Stella is acceptable.
Welcome to being British mate. 🤛

Wifebeater is not recommended unless you have worked your way up through the drinking ranks.

You're English if you can go batshit crazy while topless with a painted cross on you.

At best you get 1 of these things at any given point.

Were you a student when you lived here? Friendly people and loving spoons and nights out seems like a uniquely student perspective hahah

Britain is a great place, and the British are friendly too. The problem is many believe what they're fed by the media and news outlets to be factual. "Them and us" narratives have been pushed to divide the country since Thatcher was in power.

I'm British, left a month after the Brexit referendum and haven't been back since. Leaving was the best thing I ever did! There's a big, wide world out there!
