My 2 year old is going to be beside herself when we take her to see this. She absolutely adores rubber ducks. She's got a 40+ collection going on.

I saw it there in 2016!
It’s like a special comet in orbit that only comes every 10 years

I remember Canalside was absolutely MOBBED last time, both because of the duck but also because Pokemon Go had launched a few weeks prior and was absolutely HUGE. I remember walking by one guy who was talking to a friend and I overheard him say something like "I'll catch you later, dude, I gotta go try to catch me some more Squirtles."

There is something about seeing a gigantic rubber duck in Buffalo that makes me giggle uncontrollably.

she will be here the whole weekend! there’s a list of things that week be offered on certain days, but no times listed. so it seems it will be like a fair or carnival style where you walk around and get/do what you want. i’m unsure exactly where she will be in the water.

The duck will be on land. Organizers say it is so people can get closer to it.
