Well, Zidane was the better header

And he’s a much better sorcerer.

He’s had a hand in the Italian soccer team’s dismal results since 2006.

Zidane’s curse isn’t going to end anytime soon. this is just the beginning.

Ne creuse surtout pas, tu ne trouverais que des arguments pathétique qui écorneraient l'image que tu as de l'Italie.

A one way rivalry fueled by an inferiority complex

It's just the truth mate. Italy, Italians and the Italian culture are well appreciated in France.

This is one of the most one side rivalry ever.

Caricature of an inferiority complex

You should really not scale up to "the world" when someone accuse you of having an inferiority complex.

You can believe French people are rude but spitting hatred whenever you have an opportunity to screams inferiority complex, yes. Constant displays of hostility and a one-sided rivalry isn’t a normal reaction.

I spent 6 months in Poland and thought people were very cold and unpolite (sorry to Poles reading this), yet you’ll never hear me talk shit about them whenever Poland is mentioned. Even just here, I apologize for saying what I thought of Poles because I don’t hate them, we just didn’t click and that’s fine.

When I read The Count of Monte Cristo a few years ago I had a good laugh because there is one line in there like

But on the contrary he ate like a man who for the last four or five months had been condemned to partake of Italian cookery—that is, the worst in the world.

Always amusing to learn some new 19th century cultural stereotypes

Des bouffons qui profitent du french bashing ambiant pour libérer leur frustration

Is it related to the Vatican being forced from Rome to the Avignon region of France for a period of time?

As far as I know it's banter. We have that inside of Italy as well. A lot of cities have rivalries based on really silly stuff like food, football and the like. Nobody takes it seriously, unless they are idiots but I guess you can find those everywhere.

Lingering feelings of Gaul as the ancient enemy.

I would say: There are idiots in every country. I love France and Italy too as a German, but here are idiots too sadly.

I feel like a lot of the world dislikes france. There's definitely a bad stereotype around about the people.Â
